The Rundown:

Your guide will teach you the ropes in a personalized on-bike training session


Overview: Introduction to mountain biking

  • Seat height
  • Body position
  • Bike Set-up
  • Tire pressure
  • Suspension settings for your weight
  • Shifting
  • Braking


For the “Out of the Gate” experience, you chose the trails we ride. We can ride the same trails over and over, or we can try the single track where you will be coached on corner speed, balance, and looking ahead. If you’re feeling good on the bike, we can even guide you through small rock gardens if you’re up for it.

Tour Info:

  • Free range to a variety of beginner to intermediate trails
  • One on one training
  • Beginner terrain
  • Expert mountain bike guide / coach
  • Knowledge on bike setup, body posture, and basic skills
  • Overcoming new obstacles & getting comfortable on the bike
  • Optional after ride dip in the lake. Bring your bathing suit!


What To Bring:

  • Safety pads, eye protection & riding gloves (we provide helmets)
  • Water bottle or bladder bag
  • Closed toe flat bottom shoes 
  • Padded MTB shorts or pants (sore butt is no fun)
  • Bathing suit if you want to swim
  • Packable lightweight high energy snacks

The Trails:

Single track: 30%

Double track: 55% 

Paved path/road: 15%

Route type: mixed


  • Flat to rolling hills
  • paved bike paths, wide double track, and some beginner level single track and rock gardens.

This trail system offers the perfect variety of trails and obstacles for starting out and getting the feel for it.

$85 / PP + BIKE RENTAL

(Bike rental needs to be selected if you don't have your own bike)



E Mountain Biking in Lake Tahoe

Rent our Bikes or BYOB

We offer the option to rent from our top of the line bike fleet, or bring your own. Our bike rentals include helmets.

Water & Snacks Provided

Snacks and waters will be provided by our super duper rad adventure guides. (we recommend bringing your own just in case)

 South Lake Tahoe

We are located in the South Lake Tahoe area which offers some of the best bike paths and trails in all of Tahoe. (paved and unpaved)
